How to Add a New Person in ShelterBuddy-New UI
Step 1: Access the Add Person Feature 0:00

Click the plus sign in the ShelterBuddy UI.

Select 'Add Person' from the dropdown.
Step 2: Fill Out Basic Information 0:11

Complete all fields marked with a red asterisk (required).

Include basic details such as name and contact information.
Step 3: Add Additional Details 0:19

Optionally add spouse details or select 'Head of Household'.

Include any required identification information if necessary.
Step 4: Enter Special Messages 0:31

Indicate how the person found out about your organization.

Add notes such as 'do not adopt' or 'do not foster' if applicable.
Step 5: Include Occupation Information 0:45

Optionally add the person's occupation and company details.
Step 6: Proceed to Address Entry 1:01

Click 'Next' to move to the address entry screen.
Step 7: Add Contact Information 1:07

Enter the address details.

Optionally add more phone numbers or indicate 'do not email'.
Step 8: Finalize the Entry 1:15

Click 'Finish' to complete the addition of the person.
Step 9: Review Characteristics and Notes 1:29

Check the characteristics section for any relevant information.

Review notes such as 'do not adopt' or 'do not foster'.
Step 10: Completion Confirmation 1:45

Confirm that the new person or organization has been successfully added to the ShelterBuddy system.
